Anusha Sumesh, a gifted Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer, and teacher, hails from the culturally rich city of Calicut, Kerala. Deeply rooted in a family that celebrates Indian classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Mohiniyattam, she has specialized in Bharatanatyam. Her dance journey includes graduating in Bharatanatyam from the University of Art & Culture in 2015 and completing her Arengetram at the renowned Guruvayoor Shri Krishna Temple in 2005. Since 2017, she has been a dedicated Bharatanatyam teacher and freelancer, sharing her passion with students of all ages. As the founder of Laasya Cultural Academy in Kannamangala, Bangalore, she actively promotes and educates in various arts and dance forms, continuing her mission to keep classical traditions alive and vibrant.
